2019 Pittsburgh Steelers Season

2019 Steelers Season Summary: The 2019 Steelers were undone by injuries, most notably Big Ben's season-ending elbow surgery in week 2. The defense kept the season afloat. The trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick after week 2 transformed the unit, and TJ Watt delivered an All-Pro season. Opportunism defined them, as Pittsburgh led the NFL with 38 takeaways and ranked top 5 in both points and yards allowed, keeping the Steelers competitive in games they had no business being in.

Despite somehow climbing to 8-5, the offense scored just 10 points in each of the final 3 games, all losses, and missed the playoffs for the 2nd straight year.
