1946 - 1975 Pittsburgh Steelers Games
Season Summary: In 1969, the Steelers were a joke. One win, 13 losses, and decades of futility behind them. But Chuck Noll had a plan. He didn't want quick fixes or flash. He wanted tough, smart, disciplined football players. He drafted Joe Greene first, then kept building. Terry Bradshaw. Mel Blount. Jack Ham. Franco Harris. In 1974, he added Lynn Swann, Jack Lambert, John Stallworth, Mike Webster and Donnie Shell. All of these men are enshrined in Canton.
It burst into life in 1972 with one impossible play, and it culminated in back-to-back Super Bowl wins... TWICE. Franco's Immaculate Reception -- the greatest play in NFL history -- ignited an unmatched run of dominance. The Steel Curtain defense crushed opponents. The offense soared when it mattered most. Together, they became the greatest dynasty the game has ever seen.
