About McMillen & Wife
About McMillen & Wife
McMillen & Wife is a time machine for old-school Steelers fans who remember how Sundays used to feel. What began as a few VHS tapes grew into a massive, curated MP4 archive of full game broadcasts. We've preserved and organized the Video Vault as a gift to fans who share our passion for the great Steelers teams and players of the past.
We hope you enjoy watching (and re-watching) these classic games. If you're like me, you'll find yourself traveling back in time as you relive each unique era of Steeler football.
Please note, we do not sell DVDs or videos (please don't ask). This is a labor of love and we do not accept payment or donations of any kind.
What You’ll Find Here
- Over 700 full game broadcasts, restored and presented as aired.
- TV synced with radio — Fleming & Cope radio call dubbed over video.
- Short summaries for every game — key details about every matchup.
- Clips and short-form highlights from every era of Steelers football.
- Filter by Attribute — Use filters to find bad weather games, games with halftime shows, prime time games, division rivalries, and more!
- Show/Hide scores — By request, show/hide scores with one click.
What Makes This Place Different
Most sites are built around news or opinions. Ours is built around content we've created and compiled over decades to provide memories many fans thought were lost. IMO, that isn't just different... it's irreplaceable.
- 🕰️ A time machine — preserving football history, not reacting to daily headlines.
- 🎥 A video archive, not a blog — full-game broadcasts, not 400-word hot takes.
- 💛 Built with passion, not ad revenue — This is a labor of love, built and maintained 100% at our expense.
- 📼 Rooted in nostalgia — rare footage and deep dives found nowhere else.
- 🎯 Focused and pure — no ads, no fantasy fluff, no gambling spam, no filler.
Credits & Gratitude
Most of the classic games on this site are from our personal library. But many upgrades and additions -- including some of the most prized videos in our collection -- have been gifts from generous friends all across Steeler Nation. If you can fill a gap or improve quality, we'd love to hear from you!

2025 Site Upgrades
Times change, technology changes, and the site was long overdue for a rebuild to accommodate how people watch TODAY — phones, tablets, big screens — without changing what matters (the content). The biggest change is that pages are now mobile friendly. The experience is still more robust on a computer screen, but pages are also optimized for user friendly display and smooth operation on smaller screens.
We also made it easier to find things by modernizing our database. We added game filters to each season page (example below) to help you zero in fast — by season, opponent, era, home/away, bad weather, extra content like commercials, halftime shows and pre/postgame material, etc. Scores can be shown or hidden with one click, a frequent user request over the years (we’ll fix this on the individual game pages soon).
Summaries for every game add history and context. Where available, you can choose TV broadcasts with the original audio, or synced versions of TV meticulously dubbed with the radio call from icons like Jack Fleming & Myron Cope for that extra boost of nostalgia. The old player tribute pages remain as they were... imperfect with outdated design, but part of the early site's history and worth keeping.

Why now? We recently lost our beloved dog at age 13, and the house went quiet. I needed a diversion, and spending nights tagging games, fixing pages, and tightening the archive gave me something steady to do. It helped me channel my grief toward something productive.
What you'll find here is simple: Full games you can watch anytime. Season by season pages that treat the past with the reverence it deserves. Tribal knowledge gathered over 50+ years as a fan. Content thoughtfully curated to preserve history. It's made for folks who feel the same pull toward those great teams of the past that I do... especially for the 70s.
If this site transports you back to a time when you were gathered around the TV with family and friends to watch Lambert and Mean Joe, or Rod Woodson and Greg Lloyd, or Big Ben and the Bus... then it's doing what it was made to do. Enjoy the site. It's my Steelers story. If it becomes part of yours, that's the best outcome I can imagine.
