2017 Steelers vs Packers SNF ![]() Green Bay hangs around all night at Heinz Field, and the Steelers keep making it harder than it should be. Ben Roethlisberger throws 2 first half TDs (Grimble and Bryant), but Pittsburgh also keeps giving the Packers life with mistakes: 2 Ben INTs, a Le'Veon Bell fumble, and a pile of first half drops that leave points on the field. With Aaron Rodgers out (broken collarbone), backup Brett Hundley plays loose and aggressive, repeatedly hitting chunk throws to Jordy Nelson and company for a 14-14 tie at halftime. After Hundley hits a 55-yd TD bomb to open the 2nd half and Ben has a tipped ball intercepted, it feels like one more Packers score could bury the Steelers. But the defense comes up with a huge stop, sparked by TJ Watt in coverage and a pair of sacks, forcing a long FG try that misses badly. From there, the offense wakes up and Antonio Brown takes over. Roethlisberger finds him twice for TDs to swing the lead back, including a ridiculous toe drag grab in the back of the end zone. Even then, Pittsburgh cannot close it cleanly. Green Bay ties it late on a Jamaal Williams 4 yd TD run, and overtime is looming until Watt gets home for a late sack to force one final punt. From the Steeler 30 with 17 seconds left, Antonio Brown comes up with another insanely good toe tap |
