2017 Steelers vs Browns

In 11 degree cold on New Year’s Eve at Heinz Field, Pittsburgh rests Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and other stars, and Landry Jones pilots the offense. The Steelers strike early when Darrius Heyward-Bey takes a handoff from Fitzgerald Toussaint and sweeps around end for a 29 yd TD, then Jones fires a 20 yd TD to JuJu Smith-Schuster to make it 14-0.

Cleveland answers with a couple of quick momentum swings, including a deep shot that sets up a short TD run, and later a simple slant that turns into a long catch and run TD to keep it uncomfortably close. Pittsburgh gets another score on a 4 yd Stevan Ridley TD, but the Browns keep clawing back and tie it coming out of halftime after a long drive.

JuJu flips the whole game right back with a 96 yd kickoff return TD, and Pittsburgh tries to bleed clock and avoid mistakes. Cleveland adds points with a long FG and gets one last 4th-down chance inside the Steeler 30, but the pass hits the receiver's hands and falls incomplete to end it.
