2001 Larrivee DV-09E Rosewood Standard
One of the finest acoustic guitars I've ever played. I'm primarily an electric player, but this guitar touched me enough to convice me to finally take the plunge & shell out the dough for a REAL acoustic guitar.

I'm not sure what Jean Larrivee does to the bracing in his guitars, but whatever magic he's working, the result is incredibly warm, rich tone and impossibly even, consistent volume regardless of position. I've never heard another brand of acoustic that has the kind of tonal eveness up and down the fretboard that Larrivees do, and that includes Taylor, Martin, Tacoma, you name it.

My Larrivee features all solid wood construction (Indian rosewood back & sides with a sitka spruce top and a one-piece mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard) and a Venetian cutaway with a Fishman Pro Blender pickup.
