My amps kinda look like a 60's flashback, don't they? I use a Fender Super Reverb, a Marshall JTM45 head and a Marshall 2x12 cab re-loaded with 25-watt Celestion Greenbacks.
BTW, just in case some collector out there is salivating over this stuff, relax... they're all reissues.
I'm one of those guys who won't even bother plugging in if it's not a tube amp, and in particular, I like tube amps with relatively low wattages so you can hose 'em. The Super is 40 watts and the JTM45 is 30 watts. But don't let the deceptively low numbers fool you... we're talking TUBE watts, here. Either one of these puppies can rip your face off, and together, they create one massive wall 'O sound!
Perhaps most importantly, both of these amps are great "pedal amps." In otherwords, they make pedals sound great, which is a must for a pedal freak like me.
