2014 Steelers 51 vs Colts 34
Big Ben's mind-boggling stats are enough to make any "Madden Football" aficionado's toes curl as he connects on 40 of 49 passes (81.6%) for 522 yds, 6 TD, 0 INT, 150.6 rating and 0 sacks, making Andrew Luck's 400 yds and 3 TDs seem puny by comparison.
Indianapolis strikes first on a Vinatieri FG, after which the Steelers open up a can of whoop-ass, scoring TDs on their first four offensive possessions (all TD passes) plus a pick 6 by William Gay to run up a 35-10 lead.
The Colts rally and threaten to make a comeback, narrowing the score to 42-34 late in the 3rd, aided by a blocked Roethlisberger punt (!) a pair of costly fumbles by Darrius Heyward-Bey and LeGarrette Blount. But an intentional grounding call on Luck after he trips in his own end zone results in a safety, and following the free kick, Ben adds his 6th TD pass of the day on a gutsy 4th-and-inches call to nail the lid shut on Indy.
Note: This game marks Ben Roethlisberger's 100th win in 150 starts, joining Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana and Tom Brady as the only QBs in NFL history to do so.
