2014 Steelers 24 vs Buccaneers 27

A late-game collapse kills the Steelers. After an early sack/fumble inside the Steelers 10 sets up a quick Tampa Bay TD, Roethlisberger bounces back to throw 3 TD passes, including 2 to Antonio Brown, to rally the Steelers from an early 10-0 deficit to a 24-17 lead in the 3rd. But a stalled drive late in the 4th forces a punt, and Brad Wing’s 29-yd shanked punt sets Tampa Bay up at midfield with 40 seconds left. Backup QB Mike Glennon hits Louis Murphy for 41 yds to the 5, then finds Vincent Jackson for the game-winning TD with seven seconds remaining. The defense struggles all day to contain big plays, including another 80-yd TD drive earlier in the 2nd half. Missed chances, like a dropped TD pass by Justin Brown and Shaun Suisham’s missed FG before the half, also prove costly in a game the Steelers should have won.
