2008 Steelers 14 vs Giants 21

In spite of miserable day by Ben Roethlisberger (4 INTs, 5 sacks), the absence of Santonio Holmes due to marijuana possession charges and the loss of Willie Parker and Marvel Smith to injuries, the Steelers cling to a 14-12 lead midway through the 4th thanks to a stellar performance by the defense which holds the Giants to 4 Carney FGs.

Early in the 2nd quarter, the Steelers stop an 11-play Giants drive with a brilliant goal line stand, stuffing Brandon Jacobs 3 consecutive times from the 1-yard line on 2nd, 3rd and 4th down. But the game takes a bizarre turn when James Harrison (subbing for injured long snapper Greg Warren, who was carted off earlier in the game) snaps the ball over the head of punter Mitch Berger and out of the back of the end zone for a Giant safety to tie the game. After the free kick, New York seizes momentum and mounts a 7-play drive from midfield, capped by a 2-yd Manning TD to Kevin Boss for the Giant win.
