 2001 Steelers 20 at Chiefs 17
 The Chiefs set out to stop the Bus, but after a slow start, Bettis steamrolls the Chiefs for 112 yds. Despite dominating the Chiefs, the Steelers lead only 6-2 at the half after the Chiefs block a Josh Miller punt for a safety. But early in the 3rd quarter, Chad Scott jumps an out pattern, picks off Trent Green's pass and races 61 yds down the sideline for a TD. Late in the 3rd, Bettis rips off runs of 16 and 30 yds, setting up Stewart's short TD pass to Hines Ward, who fights his way into the end zone for a 20-2 Pittsburgh lead. The Chiefs rally late on a pair of Priest Holmes scores, but it's too little, too late. |
