Stopped Short
Unfortunately for Jamal Lewis, his quest for 2000 yards will be smothered by the Steelers, as will the playoff hopes of his stolen team.

Going Nowhere
The Ravens will join us in front of their TV sets for the playoffs
Article by McMillen & Wife
Well, it's Ravens week once again, folks, and we all know what that means: a proliferation of Baltimore crack addicts talking smak on our message board.
Good to see they're all still alive and well. They've been so quiet since we spanked them in the opener (our seventh win in a row over Crack-a-more) that I was beginning to worry they'd all become drive-by victims.
Before I resume the smak, I wanna give props to Jamal Lewis for a fantastic season. Seriously. Having said that, it'll be a pleasure watch the Steelers keep him under 2,000 yards while knocking those purple freaks out of the playoffs in one fell swoop. And let's face it... Jamal will be back on the injury scrap heap by game three next season, so enjoy it while you can.
Back to the smak.
A certain Ravens fan on our message board (Edgar) actually went so far as to suggest that Steelers fans envy the Ravens. The notion that we envy Balitmore for anything is laughable! So your one-hit, murder-capital wonders fell into a Super Bowl. Big deal? We've got FOUR of 'em. Doesn't leave much to envy, bro. Your uniforms are purple (supposedly an upgrade from orange?). What a masterstroke! Is purple the color of penis-envy? You not only stole your team, you even stole your pathetic logo and were sued and served with a court-order to change it. Perhaps best of all, your wonderful whore owners include the likes of Art Mordell and his cretin of a son.
Speaking of courtrooms and murders, how 'bout that ultimate Baltimore role model, Ray-Ray Lewis? Fits right in to the Baltimore crime family/crack house tradition. Unfortunately for you, he's been a complete no show the last half dozen or so times he's faced the Steelers. As far as I'm concerned, he wreaks more havoc off the field than on. Like tommy g said... the only thing Ray Lewis has on Lambert is teeth.
Time to draw a chalk outline around your Ravens, Edgar and company. You talk the talk, but we've smacked around your purple sluts the last 9 times we've played them and have won seven in a row. I can almost smell the fear coming from Murder-more this week. 'Course, it could be a decomposing corpse...
Ooooh, if only we were you!
There may be a rivalry amoung the fans, but there hasn't been a rivalry on the field in several years. The W/L column in Steelers/Ravens games has been WAAAY too lopsided in our favor. We've got your number... I think it's "9-1-1".
To my dismay, the Steelers have nothing to play for in terms of the post-season this Sunday night. But we have everything to play for in terms of pride and heading into the off-season on the right note. And it's going to be a pleasure to drag Baltimore into the off-season with us. Misery loves company, after all.
Tims's Prediction: Steelers 24, Ravens 17
Sandy's Prediction: Steelers 17, Ravens 13
See 'yins after the game, bruthas & sistas!

P.S. -- Smak aside, Merry Christmas, Edgar. It's good to have you back. You always get things stirred up here. And BTW... if your crack-whores do somehow manage to pull a win out of their asses, this site will be purple for one week as promised.

Comment: Purple Steeler Site
Good article Tim, but makin this site purple for a week isn't worth it. Edgar was too scared to bet Bill from Hanover & myself THREE weeks ago on this game when we were virtually out of the playoffs.
BTW, Where is EggHead? I guess he's too busy counting how much he spent on X-Mas.
I never seen a post which you bet EggHead, but take a note Edgar, Steeler Fans pay their bets. Not that he's going to have too. Can't wait till Sunday Nite.
Like Tim said, Misery loves company. Welcome to the wonderful world of January with no playoffs.

Comment: Purple Penis envy........Uh,..ok...
Hope your Christmas was exceptional this year Tim. Also wishing you a happy new year.
OK, Enough of that......I am pretty sure the purple site was your idea, yes? The rivalry indeed was born in 2000 when the Ravens won it all. Those 4 rings are really swell, but I think a 25 year wait has worn on The Steeler faithful. Just spend a little time reading this very site,if you dis-believe.
If Jamal breaks a couple 15-20 yard runs early, that record is going to fall. Momentum from these midline successes will be too(note the proper context for the spelling of the word,"too" Jacker.) much for the weary Steelers to take.
The o-line is pumped and Jamal will be. By the way, Have you noticed how cool he is when he scores. At 24 years of age,he seems to realise, unlike Lardass that his job is to score, not waddle around in the end zone pounding his big belly. There is no comparison as to who is a better back. As previously stated, Jamal has a ring,a 100 yard performance in the Super Bowl, and a 2000 yard season.(oh yeah, the record for rushing yards in a single game.
It really comes down to our defense stopping your passing game. Again, If Jamal gets the carries,HE WILL BREAK THE RECORD.(could have broke 2000 last week, had he played in the 4th quarter)
Lastly, there is another devastating consequence, should The Ravens win. Namely, the future. Do you honestly think The steelers are not on the down swing? It is called Ravens and Bengals for the next few seasons. How long before you get another ring?
This game is huge for the collective psyche of Cowher and the team. Just a little constructive critcism........Cowher needs to go---pep talks are simply not being bought. " this is your playoffs_-----" hahahahahahahahaha Man that is some funny shit.

What does that say about Ray Lewis' antics, Edgar? Does Ray-Ray showboat because he's so unfamiliar with making big plays that doesn't know how to keep his "cool" when he's actually involved in one?
I think what it really says about Jamal is that, while he's a damn good running back, he has the personality of a sea slug.

Wake up, Alice. This isn't Wonderland. I realize the Bengals are about to make the playoffs for the first time in 13 years, but I don't think it's time for their coronation just yet. Hell, even the Cardinals make the playoffs once in a while.
As for the Steelers, this miserable season was merely a blip on the radar. We'll be back to our winning ways next season. We still field more talent than the Ravens, our young secondary is rapidly improving, and we're only a good left tackle away from a return to the playoffs.
We're gonna take your ladies down yet again Sunday night. Surely you sense it. Staying with the fairytale theme, your ladies have had their little Cinderella season... but unless Cinci chokes vs. Cleveland (and they just might), you guys will be turning back into the Cleveland pumpkins that you really are soon enough.
Quote: How long before you get another ring?
I dunno, Edgar. How long before the Ravens actually have a shot at getting one for the thumb?
