New Coach... Same Bungles
Okay, let me get this straight... nothing changed under LeBeau. Nothing changed under Dave Shula. Nothing changed under Coslet. Yet we're supposed to worry about Marvin Lewis?
Predictions for Week 3: Steelers at Bengals
Cadbury Bungles
Cin-Tucky Bunnies will make a nice snack
Article by McMillen & Wife

Every other preseason or so (the approximate rate that Cinci changes head coaches), we hear how this will "finally be the year" that  Paul ... er, Mike Brown's Bungles will manage to collect themselves into something that at least "remotely" resembles an actual NFL team.

So let me get this straight... nothing changed under Dick LeBeau. Nothing changed under Dave Shula. Nothing changed under Bruce Coslet. Yet we're supposed to believe that new head coach Marvin Lewis can suddenly make these guys for real?

Sorry... there's a better chance of the Easter Bunny being for real.

Not that the Bengals don't have any talent. After all, they have Corey Dillon. And then there's... um... and then there's... well, okay, they don't have any talent. But they do have Mike Brown, one of the classiest NFL owners in the... uh... well... in the greater Cincinnati area? Yeah, that's the ticket.

Reality is, the Benglas SUCK and we'd darn well better beat the snot out of 'em. Corey Dillon is a fantastic back, but he's never had much success against the Steelers, which puts the game squarely on the shoulders of the missing Stooge, Jon Kitna (anyone else think he bears a striking resemblance to Curly Howard?). Nyuk, nyuk. We're gonna rip that porcupine to shreds. And don't drudge up what Kitna supposedly did to us in '01, either. Kordell Stewart's FOUR 2nd-half picks had a lot more to do with the outcome of that game than Jon Kitna.

Enough. Maybe I'm being lazy, but I just don't feel like dwelling on this game. To be honest, I'm still plenty pissed off about last week and all I can think about is pounding Cincy into a bloody, meaty pulp. I wanna see nothing but a gooey mess of Cadbury Bungle egg yolk left out on that field Sunday. It's time for the O-line to finally step up and kick some ass, and I think they will. Expect the Steelers to have success running the ball this week. Go get 'em, Steelers!

Tims's Prediction: Steelers 27, Bengals 7
Sandy's Prediction: Steelers 30, Benglas 13
