Key Stats & Facts
Time of Possession - Steelers 38:41, Jaguars 21:19. Need we say more? Control the clock, and more often than not, you win the game.
Red Zone Efficiency: 0-4. In my view, this is why Kordell is back on the bench. Finishing drives has been a problem for him throughout his career. Six FGs says a lot about Jeff Reed, but it doesn't say much for our offense. Our inefficiency in this department nearly cost us the game.
Jeff Reed, 6 for 6 on field goals! Outstanding! Player of the game in my view. That 50-yarder was CLUTCH! And the incredulous look on the face of Tom Coughlin (who cut Reed in the preseason) when Jeff hit that FG will be etched on my mind for some time. GREAT stuff!
